more fog!

The fog descended yesterday and hasn't lifted yet. Not only that, but the weathermap this morning showed Devon and Cornwall ALL RED. Now in most circumstances this would mean heat, but in this case it means a sever weather warning with 80% chance of flash flooding. Ah well. It's the "Devon County Show" effect - whenever the Devon County Show is on the weather is terrible. The birds are still singing and the soundscape is interesting because there is no open-ness in the air. Everything feels closed in and close by. We'll just have to see what ensues...

All out for another walk this morning. Martin Prothero has joined us again and will be leading the walk with Tony while I stay here and make sure all the kit is ready to go.
